Louise Walley Horn on September 20, 2014 at the age of 94 years young.

Earl Bell on October 24, 2013 at the age of 96 until March 19, 2014 at the age of 96.

Helen Dunnells Wentworth on December 29, 2002 at the age of 97 until March 29, 2012 at the age of 106 - 2 days shy of her 107th birthday.

Hazel Littlefield Crawford in 1998 at the age of 95 until November 3, 1999 at the age of 96.

Clifford Holdsworth in 1986 at the age of 90 until October 14, 1998 at the age of 102

Martha Treadwell Horn in 1984 at the age of 90 until June 30, 1986 at the age of 92.

Marcia Hurd Mee in 1975 at the age of 83 until May 25, 1982 at the age of 91. The oldest resident refused the cane, therefore it was awarded to Marcia, the 2nd oldest.

Melvina Provencher on July 2, 1971 at the age of 92 until March 10, 1973 at the age of 93

Acton continues the tradition by awarding a replica of the cane,

the original is kept on display at the Acton Library.

Unless otherwise noted, gaps in dates for awarding the cane were for no other reason than time constraints of the Town.
